Why is my fridge cold in the freezer but not in the main section?
This usually means the cold air vents between the freezer and the fridge compartment are blocked, or the damper that controls airflow between them has failed. A blocked evaporator fan can also cause this. It is rarely the compressor itself, since the freezer side is still cooling fine.
Why does my freezer keep getting frost buildup?
Frost usually builds up when the door is not sealing fully, is opened often, or the automatic defrost system has failed. A worn door seal is the most common and cheapest cause to fix.
Is it normal to refill AC gas every year?
No. A healthy AC should not need a gas top-up every year. If yours does, there is almost always a small leak in the coil or line that needs to be found and sealed, not just refilled repeatedly.
Top-load or front-load washing machine, which is easier to maintain?
Both are reliable when serviced regularly. Front-load machines are generally more water and energy efficient but can develop a musty smell if the door seal is not dried out between washes. Top-load machines are usually simpler and cheaper to repair. We service and repair both.
Why is my water dispenser not giving hot water?
The most common cause is a failed heating element or thermostat inside the hot tank. On some units, a tripped internal safety switch can also cut off heating until it is reset or replaced.
Why is my oven heating unevenly or burning food on one side?
This is usually a heating element that is weakening on one side, a faulty temperature sensor, or a door seal that is letting heat escape unevenly. It is a common and generally inexpensive fix.
How long do geysers usually last?
With regular use and no major sediment buildup, both electric and gas geysers can run reliably for several years. Hard water common in parts of Rawalpindi and Islamabad can shorten this if the tank is never flushed.
Is an instant (tankless) geyser better than a storage geyser?
Instant geysers heat water on demand and take up less space, while storage geysers keep a tank of hot water ready, which some households prefer for multiple taps running at once. Both are repairable; the right choice depends on your household’s hot water usage, not on reliability.
Why is my washing machine shaking or walking across the floor during spin?
This is almost always an unbalanced load, uneven feet that need levelling, or worn suspension springs/shock absorbers inside the machine. It is worth checking the load balance and feet before booking a repair.
Should I repair my appliance or just replace it?
For most faults, electrical, thermostat, door seal, gas, and motor issues, repair is cheaper than replacement, even on older units. We will always tell you honestly when a unit is old or damaged enough that replacement makes more financial sense.
